Should I repair or replace my broken windshield?

Not all broken windshields need to be replaced. As a general rule, if the damage to your windshield can fit under the size of a quarter, in most cases we can repair it. Any larger and it should be replaced. This is just a guideline, so if you have any questions please give us a call or drop by either location and we can tell you exactly what needs to be done.

How long will the installation or repair take?

Most windshield installations take about an hour to complete, then another hour for the urethane to cure to a safe drive away time. Door (side) & back glasses usually take about an hour with no cure time as most are bolted in. Repairs are generally completed in less than 30 minutes.

Do you offer mobile service?

Yes, for your convenience we offer mobile service in a 60 mile radius of the Bryan / College Station area. This service is offered Monday through Friday only.

What will Acme need from me to complete a mobile installation?

Our technicians will need access to your vehicle (keys) and contact information for you. If we are doing your job in a parking lot or other tight space please park away from other vehicles if possible to give the technician room to work.

Are your technicians certified?

Yes, all our technicians are certified by Dow Automotive in the safe use of their original equipment urethane adhesive systems for bonding the glass to your vehicle. Our technicians have a combined experience of over 60 years in automotive glass work and are constantly upgrading their skills.

Will you clean the broken glass from my vehicle?

Yes, we vacuum all the broken glass out of you vehicle and any glass that has made its way into the inside of the doors.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes, Acme Glass Company offers a warranty on all work.
